2026 AMSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting: 3rd-5th September 2026, Wellington

REGISTRATION Now OPEN – Please refer to our EVENTS page to register.

This year we are being hosted by the CAA in Datacom House, Wellington. This year’s site visit will be on Thursday, 3rd September in the afternoon at Wellington Air Traffic Control Tower, kindly hosted by Airways NZ. Numbers will be limited, so early registration will be advisable.

The CAA Medical Examiner Day will be on Friday, 4th September followed by our Conference Dinner. 

The Annual Scientific Meeting will be on Saturday, 5th September, including the AMSANZ AGM.

Medical Review Officer training: 12th-14th November 2026, Wellington.

Drug and Alcohol Management Plan [DAMP] requirements. The new Civil Aviation Act 2023 is coming into effect. Medical Examiners will be hearing directly from the CAA. For other doctors and allied health professionals with an interest in attending, please contact admin@amsnz.org.nz.  Training is available: More here.

ABOUT US

The Aerospace Medical Society of Aotearoa New Zealand (AMSANZ) exists to foster and support aviation and aerospace medicine for doctors and other professionals who are involved or interested in the field.

We run an Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) and other educational and networking events which support ongoing professional development. We also liaise closely with Australian and other overseas groups involved in the field.

The society also supports research, training, and educational initiatives.
